M. Night Shyamalan was so impressed with the episode ‘The Tale of the Dream Girl’ from ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ that he rewrote the whole episode , changed a few details and made a feature film out of it called The Sixth Sense. Critics raved about his genius screenplay and for a while, he was believed to be the new Hitchcock.

The original screenwriter never got credited…and M Night’s career has been going downhill ever since.
