New Images of Quentin Tarantino’s new movie: Django Unchained

The first official teaser poster for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained (left) is quite similar in style to the popular fan made poster released a year ago (right).

Nothing has been confirmed so far, but it might be by the same artist, Federico Mancosu. The italian designer recently said:

"I received an email from the Weinstein Company to acquire the rights of my artwork to promote the film. After mid-August came an email from a manager of Sony Pictures (the distributor of Django Unchained outside the U.S.). I gave all the necessary files and they made me sign a couple of contracts in which I said I grant the rights to the poster. For now, the two majors are not promoting the film in any way, you probably will begin to see something in the next weeks"

If it actually gets to the place where you can’t show 35mm film in theatres anymore and everything is digital projection, I won’t even make it to 60.
