It’s a hard question because I like watching crappy movies. In theaters though, I would have to say Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen. It made no sense at all and felt so long (I was looking at my watch every 15 minutes or so). I can take a 3 hour movie anytime, as long as it goes somewhere.

Tree of Life Won the Palme d’Or…against Von Trier?
It was announced today that Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life won the Palme d’Or. It’s great news for the filmmaker, because a movie sure looks impressive with award leaves.
But a few days ago, the movie screened to some pretty mixed reviews so it does seem odd that it won the Palme d’Or. Then again, most of us still haven’t seen it so…who knows?
But what if Tree of Life was a second choice? Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia was doing well until the director started talking about Hitler (Dunst won best actress after all).
Do you think the festival could have voted against the movie in order to stay away from the whole controversy? After all, had Von Trier won, he wouldn’t have been allowed in the room.

Title Suggestions for a sequel/reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer
No reboot or remake has been confirmed. This is just me having fun on a monday night, but…with Scream 4 in theaters…you never know.
