Why Kyle Reese can’t be John Connor’s father. If Connor exists and we believe that Reese is his father, it means that Reese would have left a post-apocalyptic world to go back during the 80’s and have sex with a random waitress? How would he know that his child would turn out like John Connor? Maybe Connor’s mom was just sleeping with a lot of guys during that period of time. If so, the whole time travelling mission is pointless. If John Connor sends his “future dad” in the past, it doesn’t fix his current situation. If you go back in the past, you create a new dimension. So basically, he just keeps on hoping that things will be better next time.
